The Forest Fairy

Artist Nikki Niedringhaus, now a mother, spends her days reading fairy tales that have transformed her view of everyday life. Inspired by the woodland beauty of Girdwood, Alaska, her work The Forest Fairy captures a whimsical world where creatures dance around red cap mushrooms, and fairies and gnomes thrive. Niedringhaus says, "My art evokes the wonder of childhood, reminding you of the magic that surrounds us in Alaska."
